With our eyes on the Green Economy and Social Entrepreneurship, the fun conference “Women and Energy” was organized with the presentation of the upward evolution of the WenCoop Energy Cooperative as an example of good practice, as well as the presentation of the Troya Energy Cooperative in Turkey as a case study. The interesting discussion that followed with the participation of the Heinrich Boell Foundation of Greece and Electra Energy, emphasized the educational platform KALOMATHE.GR and the training of collective knowledge sharing in order to examine the possibilities of application in other examples. In the interactive World Cafe workshop, delegates had fun exploring gender inequalities that prevent women from contributing to the energy transition and advancing careers in the field and identifying the benefits for women in the transition to clean energy.
