The idea for the creation of the WEnCoop Energy Cooperative started in December 2020 and is an initiative of the Greek Association of Women Entrepreneurs - S.E.G.E.

Training
Informative and educational seminars were held in April and March for the participation of the members of S.E.G.E. at WEnCoop.

Foundation
60 members signed the Articles of Association of the WEnCoop Energy Cooperative in June 2021.

In November 2021, the terms of connection were received from HEDNO.

Project
In January 2022, the construction of the 1MW solar power plant began and was completed in April 2022.
